New Amex statement credits

Suggest you read the terms of the offer to satisfy your own surety:

'Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $350 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at Harvey Norman by 04/07/2017 to receive one $50 credit. Limited to the first 50,000 Cards to save the offer. '

that is very interesting

All the Vivid offers are now live - David Jones, Mimco, Trenery, Country Road, Rebel and Witchery.

I'm not seeing any of these. The DJs online offer finished just yesterday, so I am surprised there is another DJ offer so soon.

Possibly only to NSW holders-just a guess. Having said that no offer on Reserve and only DJs on Accelerator

I'm in SYD have received the DJS offer on all my cards. Shame they don't sell Visa GCs. 30% off is hard to say no to.

Yes it's a real shame that Myer don't have an offer on - much more flexibility there. I am nearly out of Coles Myer gcs.

Finally managed to make use of my 25 Harvey Norman Amex cash back offers. Used for both the prepaid visa gift cards (hard to find for me) and Vpays. Process was slow as the encoding took a long time, especially with the Vpays. So I made many visits to different stores. I was never refused service at any time.

Some stores pointed out their sign saying that I wouldn't get cash back. My response was that I didn't care. I mainly staggered my purchases to cause the least inconvenience to the stores I was visiting. I'd estimate that each $350 purchase took at least 4 minutes to complete. So if I'd done all 25 purchases at the one time that would have been 100 minutes. That sort of behaviour would have attracted unwanted attention to what I was doing. But in every instance the cash back has been received.

So I say thanks to Gerry :) and Amex :) free money is always welcome!

I've only managed 7 (2 mygift 5 vpay). Would have been more but the stores that worked were too out of the way to drag mrs andye along to use her cards. In retrospect, should have gone earlier with my local store. Naively hoped the mygift would be a longer term option

Why do you need mrs andye with you?

All you need is the card and the PIN.

I've done this many times. 1 in 100 times they checked the card. When they did I said I've mixed up the card with my partners. As long as I entered the correct PIN they said there was no issue.

Accidents do happen :) I'd feel uncomfortable so try to avoid

I've put supplementary Amex issued Amex cards into Apple Pay so they can't see name mismatch and best of all no pin required as authorized by fingerprint.
Assuming the same might be possible for Samsung android phones?

Just get the sup card issued with the same first initial and last name printed on the card. Eg your name might be John Smith and your brother might be Jim Smith and wife might be Jill Smith. Get "J Smith" on all cards. Problem solved.
