New Amex statement credits

You can create a separate login for your wife's cards. Just call Amex. I've found them very helpful. I have logins for all my supp card holders.

Perhaps if the offer was spend $20, get $30 back, it would be of interest. But the "pizza" would still be binned :)

It got Oz Bargained pretty quickly. Offer was fully subscribed before you posted.

I have tried their pizza, but agree that you can do better for not much more money.

Click on the supp card to select it and make it the relevant card for the account to view transactions etc . Then click on offers tab .

Needs to be same first name, same last name and same date of birth, it basically has to be you or you cant add it to your account.

I have an additional card under my name with the Charge Platinum and I still cannot add it!

Are you certain it isn't there? Towards the top right it shows three cards. There's a >> which if you click on, scrolls right and shows additional cards. This is where I find my Charge Platinum additional card.

If not there, easiest way to sort it out would probably be to just email the platinum concierge team to sort out for you.

With the Harvey Norman $50 offer,When i put it on the Explorer i got the email saying they have noticed ive made the purchase and the points will be added soon instantly, today I bought another one on my platinum card and havent received and email and under offers in the apps it is still showing as if I havent used it.Is this because its the weekend?WHen i put it on the explorer it was a weekday

A number of members here seem to have inferred they have Amex supplementary cards in their own name when are also the primary card holder - am I understanding this correctly? Didn't know it was possible to have a supp card in the same name as the primary cardholder! Is there a limit to the number of supp cards in the same name as the primary cardholder? Can this be done with all Amex cards, including Plat Edge, or just specific cards? Please PM me if you don't want to post details publicly.

I have one supplementary edge and explorer in my own name - the sup has my full first name and the main card just the initial. I have applied both over the phone and via the online form

Email notifications dont happen all of the time. The offer doesn't usually say used for me until the cash back is in your account which normally takes several days. Although this isn't consistently the case. In short I wouldn't worry for a few days yet.

It's definitely possible to have supp cards in your own name. You can do this for all 4 supp cards. You can also do it for fictitious names as well. But be aware it is against AMEX terms. They do do random checks. I am aware of one person being caught. There were no repercussions except that the additional cards were not permitted in their own name,

It is reasonable to have a few additional cards in your name if you want to separate work expenses from personal, you may also want a card for online use only and a card that you use for overseas purchases only.
