New Amex statement credits

I think it's interesting that HN are repeating the offer. Clearly AFF and OzB members playing the system didn't impact the success of the promo as much as we might have expected

I registered via the manual link for one of my cards. On the confirmation screen it showed a list of where to redeem. There were about eight Sydney stores only.

Has this offer previously been restricted only to Sydney?
Looking at the conditions on my registration email it says Australia wide

The HN offer T&C states that Apple products are excluded from the promotion.

I am looking at buying a new iPad for my mother but assume I would get the statement credit anyway. For previous promotions, which have had similar T&C, what have been the experiences buying Apple products?

Anyone else no longer seeing Shop Small in their list of registered offers? Just logged on and it's gone where as last time I logged on a couple of days ago it was there.

I do note there was a little section about half way down telling me the promo was on again with a link to the map.

Buy harvey norman gift card first.

What do you mean?

I registered 8 cards in the first hours of registration being open. It showed up in the list of offers I had registered for for all 8 cards. I have spent 3 times on two cards and twice on the other 6. I logged in this morning and it is no longer on the list of offers I have registered for.

Purchasing 2x$200 e-Gift cards online should trigger the statement credit, as the main T&C does not exclude gift cards and it allows multiple and online purchases.

An alternative would be to wean the last iSheep in the family off the iPad and onto an Android tablet. She has an Android phone she is happy with...

Slightly OT: we have Surface Pro 4s and they blow Android tablets into the weeds, IMO. I am not a MS fanboy and I own an Android phone which I love but the Surface Pros take some beating.

Part C of the detailed terms does mention gift cards but again, based on previous years buying gift cards should be fine.

You should see the offer under Redeemed Offers - it moves there after your first Shop Small transaction has moved from pending to processed. ;)

My bad, I thought you meant it wasn't showing up on the available offers, not the registered offers.

OT - I have been using a Samsung Windows 10 tablet since April. As a piece of hardware, it is a very nice piece of technology and I am very happy with it from the hardware side of things.

Unfortunately, on the software side, Windows 10 Pro is not made for tablets, when compared to iOS or Android. Unless you really need to use Windows applications on it, I think a good Android tablet is still the best option.

That's a fair comment and I omitted to say that we have the Type Covers too which makes usability as a pure tablet less critical.

There were reports of e-Gift card orders paid for with AmEx being cancelled last year. Pre-paid visa cards and V-pays bought in store were/are fine though as you've posted.

Harvey Norman is back spend $400 get $100 - showed up in my Amex app and found the link on OzB:
American Express | Offers
Please note that with the OzB link, once you've registered a card, go to the top right hand side of the page and click "Lou out" so you can then save some more cards. Closing the tab and going back to the link will take you back to where you were as it caches your details.
yes, I realised that too, I thought it was some sneaky way of amex limiting it to one per person,

absolutely love these HN ones, Ill be doing the $300 x 2 Vpay cards, as ive not seen any $500-$1000 cards!

Please remind what VPay can be used for?

Also - HN still available to register and did anyone mention the Merivale spend $40 get $20 credit?
