My credits are starting to trickle through.
I made 6x purchases...combination of online HN GCs / physical HN GCs & one actual in store $400 spend.

2x of my online orders were rejected but credits have posted

My iPhone X is getting cheaper by the day

from experience, if harvey norman refund you, amex will claw back the credit as well, but let us know in a week or so what happens..you could be onto something

Shall do. I have seen from a few other posts of people in similar situations getting the credit and it staying. Fingers crossed it does

I dont understand why HN takes part in these offers if they have little intention of letting people actually utilise it....

I think that they are very happy for you to use it. They are just not happy that you use it for purchase of gift cards etc for future spend outside of the store.

My wife bought from a square merchant. They did have the shop small sticker in store and she triggered a shop small credit. I wonder if all Square merchants trigger it? I imagine they’re to register with Amex to participate in shop small, you need a merchant facility with Amex itself rather than taking Amex via square?

Is there any way to know (in store or at home) if the merchant is with the Shop Small program? I find the AMEX map woeful to use and doesn't always show me the stores that are participating in the program.

My local HN says their happy to do the gift cards but their system isn't working and they csnt activate any fork or gift cards for three days.

The recommended people are coming in with their Amex and the system crashes.

How easy is it to unlink/uninstall apple pay from a phone?

Sorry I've never used it before and I do not have a personal iPhone. However I have an employer supplied one that is not locked down at all.
