New Amex statement credits

Tried that. I already have an account and it wont let me add ( I think that card is already listed) and the offer doesnt appear for me.

If the card is already listed that will be indicated once you input the card number when you will be asked to then login to that account.

Went to Vintage Cellars Fortitude Valley today. Not one Coles Myer gift card to be seen. "Coming soon" I was told.

How do you run out of Coles Myer gift cards or is that one way of nullifying the promotion?

I wouldn't have thought this amex promo is THAT popular. Prolly just a poorly stocked store. Hope you managed to find a better one.

I bought gift cards in CBR store this morning. Worked fine - emails received before I left store.

Went to two VC last week and no Coles Group giftcards at all.

Went to Indooroopilly the other day and there were a few gift cards in store. Spent $100 and the email for Amex was there a few minutes later.

Dropped in to Vintage Cellars today. Bugga the Coles GC's, bought a bottle of discounted Caol Ila 12yo single malt ($82!) and a few bits and pieces to make up the $100. Yum.;)

I went to the one in Canberra, the chick said at one stage they did run out of Coles Myer cards and only restocked a few days ago.

She wasn't pleased when I said I wanted a $500 one

A few extra offers on my Plat Edge noted today, although nothing that is of interest to me:-

Sportscraft spend $90 get $30 back
Saba spend $90 get $30 back
Jurlique spend $100 get $15 back

Sportscraft & Saba offers also appear on the Amex Velocity Plat. card too.

A new quite unusual offer on my AMEX today. Spend at any participating HICAPS practitioner location to receive a $15 statement credit each time, at up to 3 different locations. Limited to the first 30,000 Cards to register. No minimum spend on the card to get the $15 although I usually find the gap payment is well over $15.

I doubt this offer will be easy to use. Most of my medical practitioners don't accept AMEX and some don't even have HICAPS terminal.

I saw this offer mentioned somewhere else, although I haven't received it (I have a bank-issued Amex, so maybe that's why) but I wouldn't be able to use it either - none of the medical practitioners, dentists etc I go/have been to accept Amex and very few have HICAPS either.

?... Most of my medical practitioners don't accept AMEX and some don't even have HICAPS terminal.

Slightly OT, but the lack of HICAPS terminal has to one of the most annoying things ever. I recently had to visit a specialist which cost something like $280. The receptionist told me I should get back $xx_. I said, "that will just be credited into my bank account won't it?" "No, you will have to go and claim it at Medicare!" Then I realised that the local Medicare branch had been consolidated with a couple of other ones, and wasn't local at all.

It is 2015 isn't it? Penny pinching like that from a private practise is carp.
