Just used the Dan Murphys $15 for $100 purchase to take advantage of the $50 15 year Dimple offer. 2 Bottles for $85 with another $5 via cashrewards. hapy to get it for the same price I bought a couple of 12 year old bottles recently.

Why can't you buy a gift card like everybody else? Part of the fun in getting these Amex credits is to get them in a way that Amex / the vendor don't intend.

Hooray for the Dans offer. Came up on my Plat Edge but not on Amex Connect for the Nab Amex yet.

The other way around for me. It was in Amex Connect for both of the bank-issued cards that I currently have, but not in my Amex account for my Platinum Edge or Qantas Discovery. Since added them via the link. :)

My CommBank Gold Awards card was just sitting in a drawer, waiting for the fee refund and the 40,000 QFF points. If I'm lucky, the fee refund will appear before the end of the month, and then I'll only have a $34 credit balance to get rid of.

A new quite unusual offer on my AMEX today. Spend at any participating HICAPS practitioner location to receive a $15 statement credit each time, at up to 3 different locations. Limited to the first 30,000 Cards to register. No minimum spend on the card to get the $15 although I usually find the gap payment is well over $15.

I doubt this offer will be easy to use. Most of my medical practitioners don't accept AMEX and some don't even have HICAPS terminal.

Thanks for posting.

The four of us need to go to the dentist for the regular clean/checkup ... we have sufficient AMEX cards to take full advantage at the one dentist. Will come in handy if we need additional work over and above the standard gap free service.

The HICAPS takes away the option for points on the cc, so for small jobs it's worth it, for an expensive job (not hard at the dentist), you would not get any points. EDIT, I should clarify, I mean there's no points for the HICAPS amount. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for that. If need be, I'll buy $16 worth of something ;)

Hopefully this is the correct thread for a bonus points credit - just rec'd email invite for 'Hardly Normal':

Thank you

You have successfully registered your American Express Card. All you need to do now is spend $500 or more on that Card in one transaction, in-store at Harvey Norman by 30 September 2015, and you will receive one Bonus Points Reward based on the following spend criteria $500 - $999 in a single transaction to get 2,500 Bonus Points $1,000 - $1,499 in a single transaction to get 5,000 Bonus Points $1,500 - $1,999 in a single transaction to get 7,500 Bonus Points $2000 or more in a single transaction to get 10,000 Bonus Points.

Offer excludes Miele, Falcon, NEFF, AEG, Gaggenau, ASKO, St George, Fargor, De Detrich, Elica and Apple products and all other Harvey Norman divisions (commercial, furniture, bedding, bathroom, flooring and online purchases).

I WONDER how we know if the item being purchased fits into the T&Cs.

I got this email as well and registered. Looks like it is targeted. I was not able to locate the offer on amexconnect.

I'd run out right now if it included a Miele washing machine, but that is expressly not included.

Correction: Apple NOT included. We need to be sure of what IS included.

So, if these and all other Harvey Norman divisions (commercial, furniture, bedding, bathroom, flooring and online purchases), are NOT included, what can be left

It is not on my Offers and Places either.

I wonder what's actually included

I saw the Harvey Norman one... I have very little desire to shop there.

In the same way that gift cards are always excluded, I doubt they know what you are buying. Just get the miele and see.

During the last Amex statement credit offer a few months ago I bought an AEG machine from HN. HN are merely an agent for Electrolux who distribute AEG. I didn't get a HN receipt but from Electrolux. It's highly likely the same type of arrangement exists with Miele.

I also bought a bed which I spread over a few cards and received all credits.
