I consider these new offers to be pretty useless too.
I've found most of the recent offers to be useless as well, but with several cards, have gotten quite good mileage with the Sniip offers (either cashback or bonus points, depending on card) as it's a busy time of year with bills for me.

As well, the First Choice offers have been great as they stock Coles Group & Myer gift cards, and this time the offers are valid in-store (whereas many times previously, it'd been online-only for First Choice, thus no gift cards). Only $10 back per offer, but I live right near a First Choice anyway, so swinging past on my way to or from somewhere has been easy.

However, haven't found anything worthwhile to spend the free Mr Porter credit on. Almost all of the items worth $75 or less are 'sold out', so clearly I wasn't the only one shopping for a bargain!

First Choice Liquor 100/10
Nearly forgot about this offer which expires tomorrow. Got it on only 4 of my cards so bought 4 x $100 CM GCs....checkout lady told me I was very clever as a previous customer had told her about the Amex promo - she was initially very puzzled as to why people were buying GCs, and all were for $100!

No first choice in Tassie :(

Hi all, I’m new to Amex and wondering if these offers normally appear in the Offers tab in the Amex app. I had two welcome offers appear when I got the card this week, but no deals like those described in this thread. Wondering if there is a waiting period or after my first statement?

I’ve also heard of Amex connect but that website appears blank to me on multiple devices.

The card is the Velocity Platinum btw.

Takes about a few weeks for offers to come up.

Yes, the Vintage Cellars (came on our Plat Reserve plus supp only) is very like the First Choice a couple of weeks ago: only for two weeks, 10% back (bigger base) but again it's Coles-owned and might sell Coles Myer GCs.

We got the WineDirect on both Plat and Plat Reserve (and supps).
