That's going to be a bit of a challenge as most of the keenly priced stuff is based on buying a mixed 6 pack.
I'm thinking I might just stock up on a few Xmas BBQ quaffers in 4 x 2 or 3 bottle lots and stick the big ticket items together.

Doesnt have to be single bottle; two $25 bottles works.... (that's my plan anyway). Though some wines that I'm interested in are of course $49.99.....

YES it is going to be a challenge.

Doesnt have to be single bottle; two $25 bottles works.... (that's my plan anyway). Though some wines that I'm interested in are of course $49.99.....

YES I understand it doesn't need to be single bottle but when 50 becomes 33 it is a good way to get better end down to cheap starting price.

I have registered 4 cards so I can effectively get 12 x $50 botts at $33.33ea - that's a big saving on a quality doz.

Whichever way I choose to go $600 retail price at Dan's for $400 is a bargain

I think Rielic is asking are other offers in peoples accounts,
and no this is the first offer I got on my cards and then it became a general offer same day which is a bit unusual.
I have only one other offer for something I've never heard of but not as many as I have received in the last months.

Cruiser I don't discriminate between beer wine and spirits so I'm thinking 3 cases of beer in the $50-$60 range will be a good spring/summer purchase.

indeed, none of my supplementary account receive any offer. I was only able to register offers via amexconnect when it becomes a general offer to bank-issued amex cards

Can anyone confirm if purchasing gift cards at DM has counted as a purchase?

I'm wary of the T&C's as serfty as posted, but not sure how they'd know if you bought a gift card or grog.

There's a bit of chatter on ozbargain (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/165251) suggesting that gift card purchases are being accepted.

The stuff doesn't go off...well not quicker than I can drink it. It's only 3 x $50 purchases. That's $150 for $50 credit. That's 3 mid range bottles of rum or 3 really cheap single malts. Otherwise pop over to the Advice on Champagne thread http://www.australianfrequentflyer....discussion/advice-on-champagne-44268-128.html and read how these members get $50 plus bubbles up their nose.

Confirmation is within seconds of completing 3rd purchase.

I can confirm this, as with every single other statement credit offer ever released by Amex in the last 5 years, gift cards will work fine.

I just went down, bought 3 $50 DM cards (do any sell wish cards?) at the same register and got the email confirming my eligibility.

Now I can buy with the 6 bottle discount!

I also bought gift cards today and got the email from Amex saying my account would be credited. You can use Dan Murphy gift cards at woolworths group stores Caltex, big W etc was confirmed by staff members.

Really? I don't actually trust staff members, and don't believe this on face value, but please let us know what your experience is when you try it!
