Just noticed already posted back a page.

For those who are thinking about trying Ingogo to use the current $15 statement credit offer, if you use the promo code NJPY5 when signing up in the app you will also get $10 off your first two trips as well.

I tried the service on the weekend and the fixed fares offered are right at the upper end of what you would expect to pay (even once the credit card surcharges are taken into account). It should be noted that you are unable to change or cancel a booking within one hour of pickup or you will be slugged a $10 fee.

Overall, once I take my third trip to get the statement credit, I do not think I will use Ingogo again as booking a taxi direct would most likely be the same cost or cheaper with less cancellation risks. An exception may be if I expect heavy traffic.

Thanks for the promo code PB - my typical taxi fare is not much more than $10, so it will probably take me 5 trips to get the $15 statement credit, but I guess the average cost of those trips is likely to be peanuts :)

So I bought a DJ gift card at a suburban DJ store. No recognition email. Has anyone else bought a gift card yet?

Am happy to report that the 4 x $50 credits for 4 x $150 Winestar Gift Voucher purchases have indeed all posted overnight - those waiting feel free to proceed with confidence - but as always do so with your eyes open.

Could open up an interesting business of MS miles at sat 1.26 cents could be rather tempting
I think they won't let you do it for long before shutting you down. Much like running your own credit card through your own eftpos terminal.
I used one to empty some of my Coles MC GCs during May with the zero commission offer for referrals.
I got an email asking why I was only accepting GCs.

Heads up: 2% CC surcharge applies.
Still, $40 off $100 is quite good.

Cheers for that. Your right, great deal still. Will they split payments do you know? Eg use 2 x Amex for $200 spend, $100 spend each.

I couldn't find a way to split payments on their website. Perhaps they'll do it over the phone. If you have any luck I'd be keen to know.

They aren't the friendliest crews around the place, only marginally better than MSY...there's suggestions on a non-English forum that you may even struggle to use more than 2 cards in store.

MSY is excellent, except when a noob rocks up and wants to ask questions.....

They remind me a little of the 'Soup naz_' (Perth branches at least).

Sees to be store dependent or maybe I've spent a bit too much at one store but not the other.

New offer (app and web) on all cards -

TFE Hotels - Spend 250 get 50 back (Australia only, but how they could tell I do not know).

Ozbargain reports they wouldn't even accept Amex in store. I emailed them a product query over a week ago and haven't heard back, so it seems like none of these computer stores have any customer service.
