New Amex statement credits

I received the QF offer on my Qantas Amex Ultimate, but it wasn't showing on Mrs 2tall4Y's Qantas Amex Premium. Furthermore, reports on OzBargain (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/268896) suggesting the offer is targeted, with people receiving pop-ups explicitly stating that it's 'by invitation only'.

That appears to be the case unfortunately

Got each of these across my various cards. But there was no consistency in the offerings.

Eg. Received it on one NAB AMEX but not the other.

Got this on my AMEX issued cards only.

Gift card can certainly be ordered online from myer.com.au for the exact $160 amount.

It's a separate question, though, about whether you get the $40 cash back.

I have not received this one on any card but an interesting offer as Amex have the card tie up with DJ and would want to steer people in that direction.

The MH is pretty awesome. Just had friends fly J Kuk-Syd and they loved. Said the service and food were amazing. They flew over in Y and said it was the best Y they have ever flown too. They are already planning their next trip and will exit Aust on MH. Already offered my cc to pay for it.

I checked back through my records and it seems in Aug 2014 there was an Amex offer with Myer - I bought gift cards and received NO credit - the invoice was from Myergiftcards.com. My SWMBO ordered some cosmetics online and received $50 credit - invoice was from Myer.

I received the QF offer on my Reserve only and the MH offer on the Charge only. No airline love for the Edge or NAB Velocity Amex. Almost made a redemption booking last night so the $50 off the ludicrously high QF surcharges is a saving at least.

A new QF offer has popped up on the Edge this morning which is a bit complicated but could be good value.

QF - Spend three times and get 20% back, up to a $200 rebate.

Note that it appears if you spend twice you get nothing back at all. So it looks like I will have to buy two $300 and one $400 gift vouchers to get the full $200 rebate (and completely offset my next annual fee of $149 for my PA Edge in January).

Just got my QF offer (Amex Reserve):



Now that appears to be non-targeted
