Please could someone send me the install files for the old APP???
They are stored in your user profile folder in windows. It's just generic, no personal data will go with it. Each app has its own file.

The latest annoyance, the last few characters seem to drop off a post.
Really, this app is causing me to rethink my participation in this forum. It has gone from being interesting and fun, to painful and annoying.
I will drop box today.

Thanks Pushka, although I needed to rely on an email notification for your PM as the new app doesn't have that functionality... Grrr... Will login on the PC next week and get that sorted, ta.
Unfortunately it does seem that the app is tied in some way to an AppleID
It uploaded to my phone properly, but then asks for my appleid and then just closes/crashes when I enter it.
Oh well, thanks for the effort Pushka. I've deleted it but have the data file incase someone finds a work-around. I'll start googling...
Ah. That makes sense. It does ask for apple id whenever you 'purchase' even a free app.
I don't know who the developer is but if I'd paid them I'd be asking for a refund
Don't know why you are blaming the developer. When custom built applications are made there is an agreement between the developer and who ever is having it made as to what it needs to do, what level of quality et. Fact is, once someone has made the decision that yes this product is good enough, lets move it into the production environment, that probably kicks off a milestone payment. But remember, someone has to say yes, this is good enough. It is not normally the developer.I don't know who the developer is but if I'd paid them I'd be asking for a refund

Seems more like issues around due diligence in procurement than anything else. Deposits and progress payments are normal, but the final payment is based on meeting agreed functional and qualiy criteria. The new App was assessed to have met the appropriate criteria. See the announcement http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ncements/new-ios-app-now-available-69086.html (Testers: "Their involvement was critical in ensuring a quality product with appropriate functionality") (Developer: "skilled, enthusiastic, and honest App developer")Sorry - cant agree. We have to make progress payments when the product isn't ready for market but a prototype. A deposit is also required. And that is standard contracts with the IT people we have dealt with. And we will have a beta test first and feedback passed on for the next version. I have some sympathy for Admin due to our frustrations with our process. But think we should have been given a better warning of limitations before upgrading.
Is there an easy way to get the old app back? iTunes only has the current app available.
Edit: I can see that some have done it, but I can't work it out??? I seem to be missing something, here.
