Me too it really pi33es me off especially on the threads with pictures loading. ( takes time to load) It won't start on the last post. I personally like going backwards( reading from the very last post meaning most recent post) . Sometimes it starts me on the very first post that I have already read a thousand times.

Likes are not registered sometimes necessitating other tactics to make it work.

When quoting a reply the quote is missing most times. Have then to re-quote.

When posting a reply my last words are usually chopped off. However unable to remedy this by editing the post.

Crashes yes many times even in the middle of writing so that's frustrating.

( I use iOS app on an iPhone 6 Plus)

Ah also unable to edit a post even shortly after due to some log on error ( so frustrating cannot correct those fat finger auto correct mistakes)

The erratic behaviour seems to me to be the big issue. I use an iPhone 6S+ and have non of the issues you mention.

I find the app clunky and no where near as good as the old one but gradually getting better with updates. (not enhancements)

You have to clear the app from memory and then start it again in iOS.

And I've found that attempts to quote a post fail first time but are OK on the second tr

I do that from time to time - clear from memory and start again but it does get very annoying. Had to do the quote thing twice to get your quote.

Another error for admin to consider in the fix list - timeline page has not been loading any new posts past the first page for the last couple of days. Participated screen still does though... And subscribed list only works sporadically as per already logged by other people

Can add the unread page is not loading more than 1 page of threads as well..... Sigh.

And yes I have deleted the app and re-installed

I put it in drop box earlier but when you try open it it crashes as the apk links to the original apple user so it can't be shared.

Participated is fixed, loads new threads, but Unread and Timeline still only load a few.

Dear Admin, would it be possible to gives the thread an update on fixing the app? Haven't heard anything for a while and really miss AFF!

This app is still terrible on iOS.
-quoting never works first time. Always have to try at least two times for quoting to bring the quoted text over.
-threads always load really old posts, not the last post I read.
-the font is too small.

Gave up on the app a long time ago.

Until a new update comes, I simply go through the painstaking process of using the normal website on my iPhone 6s.

Come on admin, where is the update?!?!?! The least you can do is tell us if something is being worked on, a timeframe, etc... Doing nothing is simply frustrating for everyone!

I'm still using the app but a lot less now. Constantly have to force close and open again. Very frustrating.

Ideally there could be a font size option in the settings. That way everyone would be happy.
I like the small print but presbyopia is starting and it won't be too long before I need to increase it

Is there any updates on the App functionality from Admin/ Developers

I'd like to know if the functionality/ usability is ever going to be restored to anything even close to the old App.

(Likes given on the App don't stick, not sure if this has been reported or not in the previous 400 odd posts)

Actually used the new app on the Android tablet the other day and it seemed a bit snappier (still slower than other app) but was at least jumping to Unread posts

Only got the old version on phone which is what I mainly use
