Is there any updates on the App functionality from Admin/ Developers

I'd like to know if the functionality/ usability is ever going to be restored to anything even close to the old App.

(Likes given on the App don't stick, not sure if this has been reported or not in the previous 400 odd posts)

There's been a deafening silence on the subject of updates. I'm no longer using it, so I don't know if there have been any changes in the way it is functioning, but on the other hand I have had no update notifications from Apple.

All the reported bugs are still there unfortunately.

I have a gut feeling there is something seriously wrong with the developer of this app, I am sure that admin is monitoring this thread but perhaps they are going legal on the developer and can't comment publicly? Just a hunch to explain the silence and no functionality improvements!

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned, that scrolling is very "stiff" on the Android version. So when you land in the middle of a thread and want to quickly get past what you have already viewed, it takes forever to scroll. I am used to just chucking the pages upward on many apps, but not this one.

No, nothing as dramatic as that!!! We are in the final stages of testing an update which I believe corrects many of the problems some people are experiencing. Stay tuned for an update in the coming days/weeks.

While I can post emoticons, I can't see them.

PMs now present. And attaching works well for pictures, but it doesn't let me attach a screenshot (PNG image error - this PNG image has the incorrect file extension

Is still a little slow to open threads, but not too bad, and at least it seems to be jumping to the correct point.

Font size also reduced

Spacing issue still present - the above is double enter for paragraph on input but looks much more spread out when viewing

Spacing seems to fix itself if you edit a post

But doesn't work if you just enter it once

Settings has choice of four font sizes and ability to view up to 50 posts per page (,I would screenshot but I can't!).

It may be that there is a choice of font size when reading posts - but when posting the only font size in the text entry field is small, from what I can see.

It was the tiny font size in the text entry field that I found very frustrating, so there is seemingly no improvement there.

Ah. That is my issue too.

After the upgrade how do I view pictures that are stretched / do not fit on the screen?
In the past I could click on them and view then whole. Now I can't do it. Using iOS latest iPhone and operating system.

Also now even though I'm logged in the app thinks that I'm not and does not allow me to post? I need to close the app. Then open again. Find the correct thread and post. Extremely inefficient. When will this be fixed?

Not a "bug"... the same thing happens if I do it via the normal website.

I believe this is some sort of "feature" to prevent posts which are all caps, i.e. commonly understood as shouting in forum parlance. It works similarly to the auto-censor which replaces expletives or prohibited phrases with asterisks.

With any other standard mixed-case text in the field, it works fine, e.g. I can type "QF1 DXB-LHR" here and nothing happens.
