Well I did a few searches lst night (15 points earned...whoop whoop). Now evcery search I do comes up with "You did not perform a qualifying search. Learn Why." And that's doing searches related to work that I actually WANT to results for. Any suggestions?

Getting the same. stopped "earning" anything at all.
Tried just awhile ago and earned 3 more points and now nothing again.

Have just installed the toolbar on one of my 4 machines. On IE for me and Firefox for Mrs Buzzard.
Happy to get the install bonus but have better things to do with my time than earn a point per search - like hanging around here!
Mind you, if several times a day I search for this forum in order to log on......

I don't even use my favorites anymore. Put everything through the search box even logging in to this site.
9 points already. OK so it's not a lot but what have I really searched for? Nothing!

I installed on Firefox which is not my default browser, did some searches and got 350 points in 20 minutes for my troubles. Deciding if I should leave it installed now.
where do the 200 bonus points show up? I can only see the points from the searches deemed to be "real".

i expect points to take between 4 and 6 weeks to post (based on another version of that toolbar I've used before). And the sign-up/install bonus won't show on the toolbar, but will separately post to the QFF account.

So don't worry if you don't see points in your QFF account yet!

Just downloaded it on Firefox which I don't use any more and was doing a few easy searches with airport codes: ADL, BNE etc then I thought I'd think of a random QF flight number and put in QF974 which I occasionally take to TSV if I fly QF (mainly VA these days with the direct SYD-TSV flight). I didn't realise this little event had occurred. Glad I wasn't on board that day.

Something strangely ironic about it.

Well and truly broken for me now.
My account and 1 of the kids were able to get maximum points for the month.
The other account is stuck at 48 points earned.

Going to try on another machine and see what happens otherwise it might be time to uninstall it and move on.

That was pretty short-lived; not a single search (mostly for kids project, and work research) during the day was deemed "real". Oh well, guess I'll go back to a real search engine.

Has been working seamlessly the past few days, although I haven't been trying to do countless searches with the thing. 150 a month is only 3 a day so I just use it when I need it and so far so good. - although I find it funny when searching for qantas - the qantas website comes up 3rd..

I almost always got a 'real' search tick of approval just using three letter codes or acronyms. I'm amazed at what some TLAs mean. Wasn't hard to knock up 120 points in a short time.

For fun I also tried some bizarre spellings of Qantas - quantas we know works but also quantis and qatas even quants. I did find there was a company called 'Kwantas' that has nothing to to with "our national carrier" as far as I can tell.

Ahh, but did you search for the Carrie Bickmore spelling of Qantas?

The toolbar stopped working for me after 11 (legitimate) searches. I don't know how their elaborate algorithms can conclude that I am not really doing legitimate searches.

Plus if it wasn't for the points I would not use Yahoo as a search engine considering how bad a search engine it is.

5 QFF members, 1,250 QFF

Wont use it really but cant complain about 1,250 points for around zero cost with only 10 min work...

Note: The 250 bonus QFF ends today...!

Who's going to be the first to report hitting the 150 monthly limit?

First? That would be my cat. He loves to search for wines, epiqure, and local Woolworths deals. Can't keep him off the computer.
