Nah. That's for the other of the six days. One has to have standards!

Today really is a Good Friday indeed.



The Lake's Folly ( penultimate bottle ) is just brilliant. Beautifully integrated oak and malo, white peach, lemon, butter, loverly tannins and depth. The Matua (MrsTheRealTMA doesn't like oaked Chardonnay, NMP) is also quite loverly; lychee, melons and such.

We like(d) those Riedel champagne glasses. Unfortunately I broke three of mine last Christmas, one knocked onto floor, one putting into dishwasher and one taking out of dishwasher. Sigh, labels are all that remains.

Ive knocked them over a few times but fortunately no breaks. We won't talk about the red wine on my carpet....
