Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Certainly am enjoying the wine as I plow through the report - some good news for us. Serious - yes, what was a 3 partner practice will now mean one selling (my brother has had an epiphany and decided to sell and live overseas for about 3 years, so won't be troubled by the non-complete clause in our contract); meanwhile the other two of us are splitting the remaining business and will become separate entities. Just what I wanted to have to do - work in our business during the day and work on my new business at night. At least I'll have premises close to home so travel to/from work will be easier (and closer to school for pick ups etc).

I'm getting grapefruit on the nose which is intriguing. It certainly is young and a little rough around the edges. Medium body and long finish, so nice to eat with some cheese.

Yes, amaroo, it would appear so :D. Still no finality as there are many options available but the main two scenarios have been canvassed. Do love all the hard work over the past 8.5 years (by the time the sale will happen) will be rewarded and will allow me to recapitalise the new business.

Classic WA Cabernet. Drinking well. Halliday 98 points, not quite sure in that. Think I'll leave the rest for a few years.

We had a nice Cote du Nuits Burgandy served by candle light on Tuesday evening - Domain Meo-Camuzet Nuits-Saint-Georges 1[SUP]er[/SUP] Cru Aux Boudots 2007

I didn't get an invite either. And I'm pretty sure that I couldn't afford it either.

At $595 a bottle, they were making a serious mark up on the '07... But it was like drinking liquid silk.

It's not a big deal I know but I had the 14 staples removed from my head and told the SCC was successfully cut out. As long as I do the Hokey Pokey (left leg in, right leg out) I can have my first shower in a week.
So to celebrate I'm going to drink this wine and not care what it tastes like, although I'm sure it will be great.
At the moment I have a hole in my head the size of a small pool so was thinking of filling it with water and getting a pet tadpole.

Here's to a speedy recovery. [-]Drink all the red you want.[/-] Take all the time you need. ;)
