Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Friends of ours enjoyed their four day cycle trip around Marlborough. Excellent easy riding and lots of wineries to visit. We took a car and it was equally interesting! Recommended.

Oh, yes, I came across that measure when searching for an explanation of the 738 ml. It's an interesting one, isn't it. So, essentially that's the conversion in play for the following vintage.

Found another few samples and discovered that the '81 also in a slightly shorter bottle, but marked 750 ml, has no punt. My next example is the '83, which is the first of mine with a punt. The '81 and the '83 were bottled two years after vintage, according to the label, while the others are all the year following vintage.

Now I've bored everyone senseless! Enough. :)

OK, is there any interest in a Coonawarra trip on the June long weekend (Mon 8th) ?
I would be happy to gather some information if there is enough interest.
Should we start a dedicated thread now or wait and see how many interested?

Coonawarra trip sounds great but June is not good for me as I'll be in Europe :(
