Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

I went down to the cellar to look at the Chalambar.
It is 1998 vintage. I really need to get @JohnM and @Daver6 over as I haven’t been drinking much.
When we go out I take bubbles and a nice red. Mrscove is a great skipper.
Have the Cullens Diana Madeline magnums down there too

Smart one @TheRealTMA.
We are having to keep Australia running ok from the west.
Almost doing a PERfect role I might add.
Going to a friends birthday party this weekend so I will take a 1998 Chalambar, a Diana Magnum,
a Cyril Henschke and something else. It isn’t everyday that you go to an 85th birthday party.

Brought some sleeping beauties out for the public holiday.

Poured right from the bottle, undecanted. Took about 4 hours to blossom.
Fantastic aromatics, slightly grainy tannins and very much brooding. Review scores slightly overrated? - I think so.
I would have thought the 2010 is about 20 years too young to drink. That said, I wouldn't wait another 20 years as I doubt I'll be here.
