Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

So sad. :(

NO.. it is not really sad at all .. I am extremely well for my age and I am quite philosophical about a requested reduction in alcohol consumption.
I expected to have withdrawal symptoms but in reality I have already drunk my fill and will very slowly quaff my way through my little cellar with no top ups.

At least get a “proper” glass! :)
I could do that / but at the local pizza / pasta place 200mtrs from where I live which is operated by my good friends I don’t think I could stoop so low as to tell them their glassware not up to AFF standard when my bill will be sub $30.

Hang on weren’t you sooking recently about a restaurant in Bris that was too expensive? Please show their glassware as their may be a correlation?

Me “spooking”! :) Not been to that specific restaurant as I said, but most good ones here use Riedel or Zalto etc.

30 buck total bill? Crikey boomy never too me to be any of those 👍

qaz sooks at OT when the bill is 200ea - says he prefers the sparking water glasses FFS
It’s important for the wine bill to exceed the food bill by at least 100%. No accounting for some. Each to their own. Youngsters can be a problem. Approaching end of life date is more appropriate for us. :) (and not for the wine!)

remember if you don’t travel first class your children will.

The FROISSART I bought from Langtons last CD sale - had never heard of it but it was SUPERB - going back to them on Tue to see if they will honor another pack at same price.
