Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

What's the issue with it?
I paid $120 for a wine that on first taste alone would not be worth $20

The Ette tasted it first and screwed her nose up - I had a couple mouthfuls and it just a very poor wine - first thoughts were there is something wrong here

Cork was perfect so no damage there but it just tastes like something is not right with it - for $120 it has to have a WOW factor about it but sadly no so back it goes

We did follow up with this which as we all know is a 100 bucker every day of the week

Just a bit of what I remembered to photograph that we've had, mainly over Christmas etc

Speaking of Jura - Ganevat tasting this week. Whites > Reds and the Sul Q/Macvin not my thing.

Plus YY event sitting next to Sarah Crowe. '11 Chard was cracking for what was meant to be a rather wet vintage.

Finishing up with some BYO at Oe-san. '13 Tyrrell's Vat 47 was showing really well.
