"The changes came in around three weeks ago. It's to help passengers."

I asked the staff to give feedback to management - and I should have time during my nine hour transit, bags in tow, at LHR to provide some myself. :)

Yep.

I remember in the early days of the alliances. It was all about "seamless travel". Then they started inserting seams. What could go wrong?

I've sent feedback to qf this afternoon mentioning CX's change back to the customer friendly policy and that they should follow suit, others here should do the same sometimes feedback in numbers has a better impact.

Have done that, also, cmon0005.
Added to my feedback to AA and BA. :)
And I do believe that QF is monitoring this thread, too. :):)
All to the good.

It demonstrates quite a difference between CX and the rest for them to lift themselves above the petty OW measure on interlining, and demonstrate once again what full service actually means.

Good idea! I just did the same.

Too be fair .... "difference between CX & MH and the rest...". Given that MH already have stated they will interline to oneworld partners on separate tickets.

And not to forget JL will do the same too. Now 3 airlines CX, MH and JL will interline to oneworld partners on separate PNR. Hopefully Qantas would do the same soon.
