To receive the 60,000 point you need to have activated the service by the 17th. If your account has been activated you should have an email from Optus to indicate that it's active.I signed up for this yesterday (Sunday) but have yet to receive any contact from Optus. Wonder if that makes me ineligible for the promotion?
Less than a week in and I’ve already been reminded why I left Optus in the first place. I’m sure it’s a case of YMMV but the network just isn’t as good for me. It’s fine when I’m at at home and around suburban Brisbane but has still been in and out of 3/4G. The 60,000pts are still worth it but I’m counting down the days until I can switch back to Telstra.

I’m an existing Optus user and the iOS app is currently working (if that helps).Has anyone had problems with the My Optus app? I can't do anything with it and it looks like my service is pending but it's been active for a week. I'm working with Optus support to try and get it resolved.

I fixed it by reinstalling the app.
I tried multiple times on the iOS app with no luckInteresting. I cleared cache and data. They asked me to reinstall the app and I queried it with them as I didn't see how that will resolve. I'll give it a try!

Same for me.I have signed up too. Went for the e-sim option and asked for a new number. I’ll just run it on my existing phone and use for data, keeping my own number.
