Optus to cease offering QFF points as of 30/06/15

Surprised to see the bonus points early. No need to leave Optus.

In a way, there is still a way to earn QF FF points on spendings with Optus Prepaids.
Just keep going to Woolworths, $60 spend will earn 30 QF FF points. Plus you get extra for using QCC or another points earning credit card.
Going for Coles, you could still earn, by using a points earning credit card.
Ratio of earn is ***VERY*** poor now though of course.
Being a pedantic: the OP should have said: Optus to cease offering BONUS QFF points.

But those points aren't coming from Optus, so they are ceasing to offer QFF points.

Recharged my prepaid Optus after I got the 3k QF FF points bonus, and after that, got the 60 points, ie $30 x 2, looks like thats it, no more bonus after they have paid us off the big lump sum.
Might be early days yet, but it does not look good for those who say that more bonus points might come after the pay off.

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

Nobody said they expected extra bonus points.

But I do expect to receive 300 points for the payment I made onto my acct on the 30 June.

Just because optus paid the bonus points early does not mean they can stop paying the contracted points.

Looks like I just received my last points:

Well I made my final payment to optus on the 30 June - $300...

So I better get my 300pts!

Just checked my Qantas activity statement and received a 2,000 point bonus - no idea what it is for

I already received my June payment points and I did pay early.. so not sure if that counts..

Lets say for prepaid for the min $30 last payment, can we "assume" we "might" get 500 QF points?
If it comes through.
And no, I haven't contacted either QF or Optus for the claim of the last last bonus.

Well no credit yet received by my wife, but my step M-i-L got hers:

I didn't get the monthly points for my June account payment. So much for the scheme ending on June 30. I guess that is agreement from Optus that I am now free to take my business elsewhere.

Wow! Really?

That's amazing - there is no way we should be missing out on June payment points.

Trust me, July 1 if no points I will be calling!

Whoops!

Yes meant August. Didn't the original email claim you had to still be a customer until the 31st July?
