Just landed.......about bloody time.

What a great day. ......two WP shadows, Billy Shorten looking like someone killed his dog and then a whole bunch of losers resigning.

All topped off with what looks like a QLD win:D

You should have seen Paul Howes then. I think he must have killed Shorten's dog.

The whole thing reminds me of a dog licking up its own vomit, it's not going to taste any better second time round

It was all about payback for being ousted by Julia 3 years ago. His ego coudn't take it. Billy's put the knife into Kev already so we could still see a repeat performance. The Milky Bar kid still needs to watch his back.

Abbott isn't Government.

Tony is a master of putting his foot in it. Not someone a party wants or needs as a leader. Mind you the fact that you're meant to vote for the party not the individual is lost on a lot of the Australian public.

So will someone take on Abbott? Surely this is an election a drover's dog could win for the Coalition?

And wouldn't it be better to get the ugly bit of deposing Abbott over with before the election to clear the air?

Didn't they say that about Hewson? This is why, supposedly, Rudd went back on his word. Couldn't stand the thought of TA as PM. Personally I'm scared the "Economic Conservative" from '07 will get another run.

Who for? Is Turnbull interested in another go around?

Good riddance to Swan! I hope he still runs in Lilley just so we can see him lose on election night. Maybe Michael Kroger can interview him again!

Krudd will probably pull him over the line:evil: And he knows it!

Possibly, but as much as the dearly departed?

Much more than her. Her political judgement is questionable. But for Rudd to get up and act as if he is saving them from instability; for him to say that he can't sit by and let Abbott win. It's egotistical nonsense. He has actively handed Abbott 50% of the bullets over the last 3 years. In listening to him speak I think he really believes that he is saving the ALP and has completely forgotten his role in its current situation

My arm chair diagnosis, munchausen by proxy.

I doubt it surely one of their strengths is that they've stuck with TA like him or not. If they dump him before the election they're as stupid as the ALP

24 hours in politics can be a long time!
Will we need a new Treasurer to guess the numbers on our Federal Budget?
Meanwhile the Chinese and Indonesians await a visit!

I would have to say that this thread has become surprisingly tame in the past 24 hours...

I am disappointed that the Australian public wont get a chance to oust the party led by someone like Gillard - oh wait they will - Rudd is just like Gillard having both betrayed a sitting Prime Minister in order to save a few seats for their mates or puff up their egos.

Hopefully now the attacks on Abbott can be on his policies rather than some misguided and divisive men/wmone debate.

Maybe now we can move the election sooner and move on as a nation.
