Just repeating my earlier prophesy...he will do well.
Rudd's "duddness" is a lesson learned and he will not make the same mistakes again.
It's now a doable task of fooling enough people in the time available.
I'm sure the conservatives will not underestimate his "common touch".. or , in fact his communication capacity full stop.
Off the cuff last night , but many will relate to his overtures to business and his wish for us to be "making things".
Should be an interesting few weeks where the oppositions trenchant negativity will have to change .
It's clearly going to be a wishin' and hopin' , "vision" campaign as both side know the cupboard is actually quite bare.. the dough has all been blown.

Hopefully now the attacks on Abbott can be on his policies rather than some misguided and divisive men/wmone debate.

Maybe now we can move the election sooner and move on as a nation.

Tony Abbott's policies will be attacked as soon as he releases them. And I also hope that Australia learns from this and moves on as a nation .... because it has been a pretty sorry state of affairs recently.

Welcome to the misogynist free zone. Good stuff!

What? Have they all suddenly left??? That's good news if they have, and hopefully they have taken the "Ditch the Witch" signs, and chaff bags, and "small breasts, huge thighs, and a big red box" menus with them.

But has anybody told Tony about the new regime?

Did everyone notice the lovely blue tie Krudd is wearing?

Did everyone notice the way that Kevin Rudd is referred to as "Krudd" and similar terms, and yet someone had the gall to suggest I was calling Tony Abbott names?

So ridiculous it's almost funny. Almost.

Anyone see rudd's speech? He's outright delusional.

He is taking a higher morale ground. I think he is going to try take advantage of being the underdog and the manner in which he was deposed.

Now that tie colour is safe again. My observation over time has been that ALP pollies usually wear blue ties and coalition ones usually go for red.

I thought they had been released: and had already been attacked ...

And yet as I quoted in the last couple of weeks a former senior advisor to the liberal leaders couple only list a limited number of pretty dire policies. I'm not sure why no one here wanted to comment on that golden selection of coalition policy.

Bob Carr talking to lateline last night was a preview of what's to come. He finally said many things that need to be said.

And Mr.Rudd came to be Prime Minister with only one promise that I heard-that he would not challenge for the leadership. So a 100% record for brokem promises.

Well I'm looking for Tony Abbott to meet your high standard of never breaking a promise.

Now maybe the focus can actually move onto the Liberal party and their policies (if they have any).

Of all the Labour pollies that spoke last night, Carr sounded the most like leadership material, unfortunately he carries more baggage than a Qantas ground handler (and is in the Senate)

OK I am willing to make a bet he wont break all his promises.
