Actually, now I have all 3: Plat Charge Card, Plat Reserve CC and Plat Edge CC.

I got Plat Edge CC when it was launched as I took advantage of free SYD-ADL return flight for only $150 annual fee. Absolutely worth it given I can book it on peak times and in fairly short notice. I only got the Charge Card late last year.

I received an updated PDS in the mail last week - the PDS is listed as being effective from 15 March 2012, though the accompanying letter says for all trips booked from 1 October 2012. Changes seem to be pretty much in line with those for the Platinum Charge Card.

It seems AmEx have removed this benefit since.

Only reason I want all 3 is because of free hotel/better flight selection on the reserve and it's free anyways with plat charge and I want the plat edge because of the 3 points per $ for groceries and 2 points per $ for petrol.

For some reason my Edge only cost me $99...I'm not fussed, considering I'm only $799 out of pocket in the last 12 months for all 3 cards and 2 flights. What you might wanna do is wait for the next time they're giving away bonus points for signing up the Reserve, I've done exactly that and pocketed the bonus points with the Edge.

I cancelled my plat charge card and got a 300 pro rata refund...

Will keep my affinity reserve card until its up for renewal then can that too.
