Plaza Premium Lounge at Adelaide Airport

Likewise but I’m just curious to see how this works out for passengers who don’t.
I would like to think that the International carriers would switch over and both VA and JQ will continue to use their own lounges
For SQ it might well be that * golds, PPS and J pax access the PP lounge whilst VA SG/WPs only have access to the VA lounge.

That seems plausible. My booking is on QR and in J so I would expect them also to include Plaza Premium when it opens; again, flying Y and relying on VA status might only get VA domestic lounge access.

Yep. But it’s on the wrong side of International. You will have to walk to the end of the terminal and go through immigration and security after leaving the club. Upstairs where everyone goes isn’t too shabby with views over tarmac but little in way of snacks etc. The duty free wasn’t even opened up yet when we went through in May. And nor was QP because Qatar no longer accessed it. 😠

If coming in domestically from Melbourne, do I clear customs and security first before the club or does the club come first?
If it's the former, sounds like a lot of hassle especially with a toddler. Might just give it a miss 🤷‍♂️

Club is first. They will call you in the lounge unless it's already been called when you arrive in which case they will advise you when you try to check into the club. It's a miserable set up until the international lounge opens. There are signs up after security and that's it.

Got it, thanks.
Even if somehow QF does not delay and screw us badly, we might only have 45 mins or so in the club so will see how it goes.

Hive of activity today. Looked to be 3 or 4 different gangs working in there. Still looks a way off although these things can generally happen quickly once they get cracking. Doubt it’s open before March though

Someone was asking about this lounge in another thread, so i was motivated to do some light internet stalking. Theyve been advertising for bar staff, chefs and housekeepers in recent weeks. The housekeepers' starting date was 13 Feb 'days only' atm.

Im flying out of Adel in four weeks, fingers crossed they might be open.

Nup, we have heard absolutely zero on it. I suspect it’s been delayed further
When I saw the new post today I thought it may have been an announcement. No point checking if it's open until we hear something and no doubt you will hear it first 😂

No alcohol? *coughs*

I'll get to try it in May for morning departure on MH then. So it isn't a true business lounge but must be paid for? Maybe I'll pass then. Wait for a bit in the Qantas lounge. Sigh.

Ugh, not open for either of QR's international departures? What's the point?
It’s only a soft opening for now and there is no guarantee that all airlines will enter into a contract with PP. I’d suspect QR will move but they could turn around and decide to stay put at the VA lounge for now
