Please let the deity of your choice ensure that the trial proceeds perfectly. Please deity of your choice let that be true…I need to feel hopeful as feeling a little flat right now ……but will the premiers overrule it ??
….governments never introduce a trial without a predetermined outcome in mind (remember we in Victoria had the collective amnesia-fest last year inquiring into hotel quarantine)… can’t believe I’m hoping that will happen here…Please let the deity of your choice ensure that the trial proceeds perfectly.

Given that most their customers are from Victoria and NSW, that’s a pretty strange attitude. I guess unemployment appeals to them.Though here in QLD it is still the majority feeling.Talking to a few employees in hospitality on our recent short trip out west then Hayman Island they were very happy that the NSW border was closed.
You’re right @MARTINE. So I hope they have already decided that it works to have Home Quarantine, not that Home Quarantine is a failure.….governments never introduce a trial without a predetermined outcome in mind (remember we in Victoria had the collective amnesia-fest last year inquiring into hotel quarantine)… can’t believe I’m hoping that will happen here…
Is it on one of the retrofitted 77Ws with the Room? I'm dying to try that out.I found a pretty decent ANA business fare to london for Christmas today, doesn’t do anything about the Qantas interest free savings plan, wondering about a speculative booking. We’ll be over 80% by then?
A couple of dinners in Tokyo might be pushing it, though.
Could be, more exciting is that last time I checked they were serving Noguchi Naohiko sake in both business and first. Is it on one of the retrofitted 77Ws with the Room? I'm dying to try that out.
Sock it to em Scomo. The only positive thing he has done recently is pressing living with the virus. Only hope he keeps it up.Scott Morrison has reiterated today that we have to learn to live with the virus. He’s saying the right things, but it remains to be seen how he will react once the vaccine targets are reached if states at that point seek to reneg on their promise to the Australian people to reopen.
Oh yes I would like to go earlier too - and I will be on a jet to Dubai just as soon as it can be managed. But the only trip I actually have booked is Japan 2023.February 2023! I hope to have gone overseas at least once, maybe twice well before then. Still hoping for a miracle in time for Christmas 2021.

Have you really booked a trip for 2023? I always found that I couldn't book a flight more than something like 11 months out.Oh yes I would like to go earlier too - and I will be on a jet to Dubai just as soon as it can be managed. But the only trip I actually have booked is Japan 2023.
Flights no but cruises can be booked three years out in some cases.Have you really booked a trip for 2023? I always found that I couldn't book a flight more than something like 11 months out.
Its called $$$ - unfortunately WA has heaps of mining $$$Yes words words words. I want to hear how he’s going to convince / penalise / force rogue states to comply.
Yep, and I guess that means they'll be at the front lines of the Chinese weaning themselves off our ore.Its called $$$ - unfortunately WA has heaps of mining $$$
I'm guess wait until the majority of states get to 80% - there might be enough carrots/sticks without needing to add to it.
