What it boils down to is: it's a schemozzle in all respects and nobody at QF seems interested in fixing it.

Worked last Friday, in Sydney, for a SYD-PER flight.
On the way back, coming down from the QC in PER, l decided that the regular line was just too long and gave it a shot. I'm only QF Gold. Worked for me, no-one checked my status.

Do you use the bus or T2 lanes as well when you shouldn't? What about handicapped parking spaces?
This is part of the problem - not only have QF not pushed it as they should - people like are happy to flout the rules to get benefits which are not included in your conditions of carriage.
You, and others like you are the problem, stop blaming Qantas. Did you push past the Q in the air bridge, then shove past peeps stowing their carry on just to get to your seat 30 seconds sooner ? I'm frankly sick to death of this thread and others like it. 199 pages !!! Get over it people. (steps off soapbox).
Once in over 30 flights. Yes, l am the problem.......
As WP for the last 7+ years (including a few years as WP+) I don't mind that you use the PB lane occasionally - it's DOM, it's only PB until you get into the air-bridge & it's managed poorly.
I understand that I'm in the minority!
Sorry folks, QF is the problem. It is simply a poor and confusing effort. No PB on 734's no PB at Adelaide or Canberra to name but two. The staff have no inclination to enforce it and management have no interest in it being enforced.
amaroo, since l've only used PB unlawfully once (ever), how many more times can l used it before l get shot by a AFF member???

An extreme example is that if a judge (QF) lets a murderer (dishonest PB user) walk free, the murderer has still committed murder and has done the wrong thing regardless of the ruling.
