Would be my guess but depends on what sort of check (a few on YSSY will know more I suspect)

VXA-VXO (15) are the oldest QF 737s and were part of a cancelled AA order following Sep-11 that QF needed for expansion after Ansett's collapse - all 15 arrived between Jan-02 and Jul-02

VXP-VXU (6) of which 2 have been refurbed are about a year younger.

All depends on what checks have been conducted.

Was suggested on announcement that SYD will do more refurbs than BNE
So expecting BNE will be doing combination of C-check and Refurb

It appears that VH-VYJ has completed its refurbishment in Sydney as it returned into service yesterday operating Sydney - Brisbane

Has anything been said about what the plan is when it comes to upgrading the aircraft with AVOD? Are they going to have to purchase different seats and six more systems per aircraft cause you surely can't imagine them just going with iPads for the new last row when everyone else has the Panasonic system?

Yeah well I just did a quick search for all the non AVOD 737s and VZD hasn't flown since last night QF460 MEL-SYD. Yeah hopefully VXC is finished by sometime during this upcoming weekend. It'll be one month this Friday

VH-VXC test flight today from BNE as QF6114. Would expect VZD is almost complete as well

And VXC back into service this morning operating QF798 to CNS, then seemingly scheduled on QF709 back to BNE. EF shows 30 rows.
