Im 0/3 this year for a380s and my maths says this should be the outbound flight for my Monday SIN -SYD.

As you’ve said it’s their home port, so keeping people on the aircraft for almost five hours while the work was completed it the outrageous part.

Given that the issue had already been looked at after the arrival of the in-bound, a higher level of annoyance is probably warranted.

And hopefully a review of the initial checklist used since it didn't pick up the prevailing problem. Lessons learnt and continuous improvement as you go...

It never ceases to amaze how QFi can have so many operational problems, yet the majority of foreign airlines flying to and from Oz generally do so quite reliably and often punctually.

Trust me, they do. It's a numbers game, other airlines will have less issues here, because they are only using 1 or two aircraft a day and those aircraft are out of their home hubs anyway,

Yeah but have a look at BA, they've cancelled hundreds of flights this month for operational reasons, so I don't think this is something unique to QF.

Yep SIN F stayed open. AJ now waiting among the riff raff at the baggage carousel where everything is coming out in reverse priority order.

That's just Heathrow baggage handling, happens with all airlines there.
