Not that I’m an expert, but from my own experiences, the pizza place at Royal Pines that opened recently has gone in stages to create pizzas, starting simple and learning how to do it best and getting more complex and better as they go. Assuming they have the same kitchen staff and the changes weren’t ramped up over time but just suddenly introduced, they might need some time to perfect their cooking in each city.

God help QF if they decide to model their progress on what happens at Royal Pines;) after all, there is no Neil Perry Influence

That’s a good thing is it not? :p

I’m just thinking (and saying), with any kitchen, you can’t expect the chefs to create a new dish perfect from the beginning, they need to slowly get into it. Perhaps the same has happened here. After all, unless they cloned NP, and had the clones working in the QP/J’s, they have slightly less experience than him with the menu’s.

Very true. Good example.

Hmm, are the tasty morsels that are served actually prepared on site? I was always under the impression that they were just reheated there.

Good point, they always taste as though they were reheated. Seriously though my expectations of free lounge food ( excluding the F Lounge) will always remain ridiculously low and thus I will avoid disappointment ;p

Djsflynn is the QF PR guy here, direct all calls to him and he will get onto Neil, who didn't know what was opening when.

Neil should do a few stints in the kitchens and get those pizzas right methinks.

No they are not QF PR, just a "journalist" for an online publication. Redroo would be an authoritative source if you feel so inspired!

+1 for underpromising & overdelivering

Incorrect - 'red roo' would be the appropriate point. I don't believe 'redroo' is associated with QF.

Haven't come across red roo for a while?

They are frequently seen lurking at the bottom of QF-related threads. A post will occasionally be made to clear up a bad misconception, but that’s about all I’ve seen lately.

Although as noted, have been away for 4 days.
