They'll just request Qantas to send you another two lounge pass. Usually arrives 1-2 weeks later

Would they request that I change my QFF address to reflect my Amex address, or do I simply need to confirm where I want them to go?

Just change your Qantas address via the website to reflect your credit card address and it should be fine.

Just an update on my above issue:

I can confirm that Reward charges on a QF USA-OZ flight will NOT trigger the lounge passes. The T&Cs state that you must spend $$ on a Qantas flight in Australia, but upon pushing the point they are telling me that because the spend was directed through the Qantas USA portal, in USD, it does not qualify. Oh well.

What is the cheapest QF product people have found will trigger the passes?

Oz based seat selection or classic award taxes has worked for me.

All points in QFF acc - card cancelled this morn - $249 ann fee refund by cheque in 7 to 10 working days - gotta love AMEX huh?

Cruiser Elite I took your lead on this. Wife refunded in full. Was going to do the same with my mum and dad but due to the amex stuff up taking 12- 13 days for points to post mid April it took me over the first month statement so no refund on those 2.

But I did get 2 x $30 statement credits and 5000 points to stay. I received those and have decided not to stay.

I have not received my two lounge passes yet and I signed up in January. That being said, I have not booked any flights with Qantas. I have booked accomodation through Qantas on two occasions but that has not triggered the passes :-|

You can check if the passes have been activated through your amex statement easiest for me was the $20 points top up. That should activate it

Thanks for the tip. Where abouts on the statement does it mention about the passes? I have looked through May and April and I can't see it.

if you see any boxes with a + next to it, expand the box and it should say lounge pass activated.

It's not actually on the statement. It's in the 'View points summary' section online. The button is on the right hand side just under the total points transferred number.

It's a shame you can't buy the points online. I don't really feel like calling the customer service centre

Ive never purchased points, but I thought it had to be done when booking an Award because you are short. Ie can't just be added to your balance?

Find a random flight that you're short 500pts on. Call them up and say you want to buy 500pts to make it possible to redeem the flight. All done.
