I had the same issue - points left Amex 18 April, no appearance on my QFF account. I rang Amex twice last week and they said issue with Q, be patient. Still not there yesterday and rang Q who tried to say it was an Amex issue. They said be patient, might take weeks and then asked if I want a case opened. I said yes, and this morning voila, points in and I got a phone call from Q letting me know.

When I phoned Amex last week, they also said I could get 3000 points if I get a secondary card, so duly ordered one for my better half

Confirming Amex had massive issues for transfers on 18 April. I commented here about 7 days ago.

Raised a case through secure online message after 4 phone calls did nothing. I have 3 replies by email all standard blah, blah. So I said I will raise a FOS complaint and bang they replied straight away from Amex Executive Customer Relations and should be fixed by close of business today.

For comparison, my monthly points came through today, 12 days later than normal.

This inconsistency is total BS.
My 80,000 bonus points were posted WITH the $3000 qualifying transaction and were in the QF account at the next sweep, 4 weeks later.
In other words, I'm totally satisfied!
Which is a lot different to many on this thread

Now 7 weeks after my Qantas spend, and still not received lounge passes.

My 80000 went through no problem. 86500 in the end. Got the lounge passes no problem after 2 weeks. Second month was 2 weeks late. Only 3920 points. Rang and told they were having major issues. Anyway all good now.

A couple of hiccups but otherwise a pleasant experience with Amex so far!

My first spend with Qantas only showed up as 1 point per $ - quick call to Amex and they doubled the points for that transaction. Just occurred to me that it should have also triggered the final 2500pt bonus associated with the card. Will call again tomorrow.

I assume this spend with Qantas (taxes on a Reward flight) will qualify me for the 2x lounge passes? Given they were happy to grant 2 points per $ I am guessing they consider it a relevant spend with QF...

Same here, except 10 weeks have passed. I've called several times for it to be resolved and always get someone very friendly and willing, but still no passes.

In my last call they said I might have to ask Qantas for them directly, which seems a bit odd...

On my call yesterday I asked whether it could be confirmed that Qantas had been sent the trigger note to send me passes, because I didn't want to get 8wks down the track only to find they weren't even on the way yet.

Friendly guy, said he will look into it and call me back...

Our work does transfers to Qantas Frequent Flyer and these are all happening within a day.

I finally got my 82,500 points! On the phone, AMEX said it would take up to 6 weeks to get back to me as to why I only received 42,500 points - not acceptable. I then tried (via advice from this thread) to use the online message system with AMEX. This was more efficient as I got replies within a few days but Amex still refused to give me the 82,500 points. The reason they refused my request is because it took them 2 weeks to process my application. Apparently, to receive the 82,500 points you needed to have applied and got Amex approval by Feb 29th. I applied on February 29th. When I applied, there was no indication, I was wasting my time as it can take up to 2 weeks to process. I then took to twitter with #hoodwinked. Bingo. Problem solved and WITHIN HOURS - Amex agreed to give me 82,500 points via their Social Media Response Team. Interestingly enough, Customer Service at AMEX have no idea and are still refusing to give me the points which are already credited to my account. So interesting lesson learnt, I won't waste time with customer service any longer - go straight to social media and save A LOT of time.

I called Amex today about my missing lounge passes and the fact I can no longer view my points summary for both my Qantas/Velocity cards.
Not a huge deal, but I would like the ability to ensure I am getting my points correctly posted (eg 3ppd for restaurant on Velocity etc)

He flagged it as an issue and said he would pass it on to the it systems team, I fear this means nothing lol.

Glad to report that despite being told on the phone that I'm not eligible and also written on the welcome letter that I already have other AMEX cards, I've received the bonus points into my QF account, about two weeks after completing the $3,000 minimum spend.

Is your postal adress for your Amex and Qantas the same? I found that if you have two different postal address then chances are you might never get them. Happened to me.

I find amex refuse to post cards to my PO box. Guess it's an identity theft thing

I was told it's not really Amex that has the final say. They just send a request to Qantas and Qantas sends out the pass.

They'll just request Qantas to send you another two lounge pass. Usually arrives 1-2 weeks later
