Well you've had better luck than me. I'm unable to log in. Maybe I should phone them and ask what's wrong? Oh, hang on, wait a minute ....Was briefly able to log-in just now (saw my name and Points balance), then when I went to "My Account", prompted to log-in again.
Ok I'll change my comment to just be about F

I should add that they have done a lot more travel than just the one booking and do have a forward booking.I have friends who have not got 1200 SC or forward bookings to get that for the membership year ending 2022 but qualified for the status extension previously announced due to booking and taking a flight that have got 30k points with Jul-Dec 2023 year end.
I'd like to do a search that I need to be logged in to do that would make it easier to see if there are J/F classic rewards seats to/from LHR.This definitely wasn't there yesterday:

You can't actually book it though because it's not possible to log in!
Don't need to login to search. At least when you can login you'll have the flight details already.I'd like to do a search that I need to be logged in to do that would make it easier to see if there are J/F classic rewards seats to/from LHR.
Interesting.data overall comes from the ABS
So WPs are not flying domestically at the moment. Bump Gold to the business lounge to provide more room in the WP for the other lounge invites they've been giving away.Just got my e-mail as a Gold with July 2023 anniversary date:
But the additional 50% of Classic seats is being "progressively released from 12pm today".
- 2 x Domestic Business lounge passes
- $50 voucher
- 'Confirmation of status extension' (i.e. nothing new)
But isn't that the point? To get the leisure traveller to travel with Qantas, rather than REX, Bonza, or VA. It's not targeted for corporate travellers.Silly bulk releases like this only help the leisure traveller that wants to go "somewhere" and books based on availability but if you have actual plans for a specific date range and destination these drops are useless and cause more headaches.
Yes, but at least you can search and then EVERYONE is in the same situation... Equal playing field, when you can login again. It's probably a blessing in disguise. Research first then book straight away.To have all this availability and be unable to book it is hilarious.
But with multi-city when logged in you can see at a glance if there's classic reward seats over a few week period or so. Also when logged in you can see availability only open to higher status tiers.Don't need to login to search. At least when you can login you'll have the flight details already.
Ohh I agree, just trying to suggest another way is all.But with multi-city when logged in you can see at a glance if there's classic reward seats over a few week period or so. Also when logged in you can see availability only open to higher status tiers.
This is great. But with so many A380 changes on SYD/MEL-LAX, you probably won't end up on an A380 anyway!First class avail for SYD-LAX...

It's the closest you get to God-like (ie Oprah) powers in the airline industry. A few taps of the keyboard and, voila, award seats for everybody.Interesting to see International Business availability on some dates opened up that don't even have any I or D space. I wonder what logic dictates what new seats are released.
