Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

I transferred one of the domestic Business Lounge passes that I got from last year's apology (as a gold member at the time) to my mum to use ahead of her flight today. She says they denied her entry to the Business Lounge but let her into the Qantas Club.

Which airport?

In the same position

Ditto, but my carry over is 500 sc and I'll need it this year. Expired 31 Jan. Am wondering at what point to try to contact them

Someone from QFF finally replied to an email enquiring about my rollover credits - indicating that yes I am entitled to them and that I should receive them by the end of the month. So likely it's all related together!

I am also still waiting

With an anniversary date of October last year, should that qualify for some sort of rollover as we haven’t had it and I will query it w’ QF if it should. Thank you

Yes, if you had any eligible status credits to rollover. So exclude anything from the previous year's rollover, but included anything you earned during the year (up to the maximum)

Sorry to follow up, but what does ‘eligible’ in this context mean please?

Had the same with my Son-in-law and two of his friends in SYD lounge a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the system on the lounge dragon's side doesn't differentiate between a General pass and a Domestic Business pass.

However he didn't take no for an answer (with my coaching) and eventually they gave up and let them in.

Needs to be escalated.

Are there any differences between the Qantas Club and domestic business lounge at SYD? I've mostly been using the latter since I have access, but it seems like the food is always butter chicken and toasties regardless, and the bar is pretty much the same as well, right? The views are similar and both are frequently crowded (as per the headline of this thread), so it's much of a muchness.
