Qantas Business Class meals & menus

Better look it up at Epicure- that's one of their regulars and often appears in the mixed dozens. Plus you'll get ample Qantas points
Thanks!
Though noting that it goes for $40 a bottle - thought it was way too good for the more typical 15-20 price range of the J reds. Will look for the mixed dozens though.

Seared kingfish was excellent, though I’m still not sold on the orange and pistachio combo that seems to feature prominently on my flights.

Note the cheeky cup of soup alongside. Was delicious.

Cheese was as per my earlier post.

Overall, service again was terrific. Quick, proactive top-ups and all very friendly.

Really on these 2-3 hour flights I consider the food as "snacks" anyway and never expect to be fed fully. I think that's how QF expects it too.. specially if they think people will fill up on toasted sangas in the lounge. :p

and agree whatever it is about OOL meals (though I tought most flights were double catered from whence they came) they are almost always superior for the stage lengths. It's quite curous.

View attachment 127307 Pretty disappointing menu MEL-PER lunchtime flight. (12:45pm.)

That said, what I ate was fine, albeit small, and service was excellent, lead by Mike the CSM, with drinks trolleys out within about 10 minutes. PDB was water or the sparkling juice.

Sadly got this menu again from PER-MEL yesterday (QF772). Had the roast chicken. Was ok but basically drenched in salt.

Service was terrible. Stewart the CSM made no attempt to engage with pax. And I had the misfortune of having Nicole servicing my row. Surly and one or two word responses to pretty much every request: No. An embarrassment to Qantas and I’m just trying to work out the best way to give some measured feedback that will be taken on board.

Make sure you do that once the web site functionality is restored to normal. ;)

Over the long weekend took 7 Domestic flights in J (between ADL/BNE/MEL/SYD). Here are some of the meals. Got offered the beef cheek with potatoes and corn/tomato salsa three times...
