Sorry, and within too.But not within Australia? Is that correc?
Interesting. I flew with QF in J last year and they said they had no idea what allergens were in the food. So they gave me an extra piece of sour dough with some vegemite - woo hooSorry, and within too.
MEL SYD on a morning flight.
First time seeing this offered, a mixed greens bowl with edamame, pumpkin, nuts and more. Must say this was a treat, better than the usual frittata! Super attentive and friendly crew.

Interesting report. 2nd switch between menu and offering ex-US - this one, and as I reported last week, a switch out of soup appetiser with Mezze plate.
Pretty odd and in my case the crew didn't know till after I'd ordered my plate, and sounds the same in this case. That seems poor. they'd know when reviewing the catering loaded I should think. odd.
and yes, I had some things I ordered on brekky card also not delivered. didn't bother worrying about it too much, but still, hardly premium service with a seemingly lack of attention to detail.

Here's the salmon!
Interestingly I never received the croissant on my requestes breakfast tray but still received the butter and Vegemite sachet.

Flew AKL to SYD Sunday 18.15pm flight A330 and the meal choice was just shocking. It was a veal something or chicken something. Went with the chicken and couldn't touch it. Grey meat fatty gross. Chap across from to the veal and left most of it. Ended up enjoying the sourdough bread with butter and cake thing. Flew Air NZ a few months ago and incredible. Menus, choice of starter and 3 mains then choice of desert or cheese plate. I'll pass on QF for the time being on Tasman and hope that they sort it out soon. I did post the air NZ menu from that trip a few months back on this thread.AKL-BNE 16:40 A330 flight.
Same two options as on my flight over - I assume, but of course described slightly differently. Barramundi in “spicy sauce”, or veal ravioli with kale and mushrooms. Was hungry and went with the ravioli.

It was tasty and filling. Nothing else offered or requested.
PDBs of sparkling and the waters. Top ups of the sparkling wine given to several pax. Lee the CSM took my order (by row) but also offered me a pre-meal drink. Didn’t hear or see that for those around me.
Wine top up offered. Crew shut the curtains halfway through the flight but call bells were answered quickly- mine was in just 5 seconds.
Nice to be back in 2A on the 330 (and even snoozed / snored a bit!). But it was actually a further reminder of the diminished trans-Tasman offering. Final nail in the coffin was absence of music on the IFE. Lee noted I wasn’t the only one lamenting this.
Not a great way to handle allergies when you're a long way down to hospital. Do you also have issues with wines fined with fish guts?QF2 Singapore to Sydney Feb -The vegan meal was a tomato pasta bake which wasn't too bad. I did ask about the pork but they said they didn't have any because they were in the middle of changing the menu. The panna cotta was returned because it was bland and revolting
For breakfast I asked about whether there was any fish products in the sauce for Bacon and Egg brioche roll and they said they don't have a list of allergens which I think is pretty poor.
I found the UK much better at dealing with allergens than Australia. They will usually have a book with all the meals and the allergens for each meal. View attachment 318975

OT but I also noted the lack of music and notes so in the feedback email I receive after most qantas flights! Don’t know if another airline that has done that.AKL-BNE 16:40 A330 flight.

Thanks - so if I get sick after lots of wine it won't be because of the fishShould not be a concern because of its very nature and purpose in precipitating out.

Fining Agents - The Australian Wine Research Institute
Fining agents are added to wine to reduce astringency and/or bitterness; remove haze-forming proteins; or reduce colour. They react with wine components to form a complex that can be separated from the winewww.awri.com.au
