You always end up with more at breakfast than you do at lunch. That last egg dish looks a big substandard though

SYD-ADL morning refreshment this week: the beef, caramelised onion and cheese toastie. I usually bypass the carb and calorie combination but this was the home leg of a weekend status run to CGK so I thought I may as well go out with a bang

Note the tomato juice in the picture and bear in mind this was an 0950 departure. The meal cart was pushed out with the wine on top (double ) Now this is what I call service. I declined a wine initially and had the juice so as to maintain the pretence of a sober, well-seasoned traveller. After the food was cleared I succumbed to the alcoholic grapes (2013 Voyager Estate Chardonnay). Rounded out a long weekend very nicely.

Another sample of the dish RooFlyer had.

It was quite disappointing. I miss the dumplings :(

Lamb pie - the pie it's self was ok but the beans and olives were poor

Booking said it was a lunch service, announced as a snack. Offered Chicken sandwich, salmon terrine or bowl of fruit salad. Had the Salmon and found it really nice.
