oh, almost forgot... one flight the S&S was there (sigh).. other flights had pretty decent Eden valley riesling offered for the white.

And the garlic prawns with chorizo for lunch. Also very nice.
I barely touched the chorizo. The prawns were very good though.That looks way better than I expected (albeit a little coronary inducing). I regret not choosing it when I saw it on the menu!

While Domestically & trans Tasman the black hard shell over ear ones have been "premium" for over a decade they are not active noise cancelling devices.
I just completed a couple of domestic legs and the headphones were the same ones as in economy, those that you pick up from the bin at the gate except in business they were pre-placed in the seatback pocket. The trans-Tasman flights offered the better headphones that you get on longer international flights though.
