Yeah, was disappointing, my first (and only, most likely) time in QF F, (Classic Award)I've never flown F, but honestly, that menu looks rather underwhelming. Looking at the pictures of the food too, QR J is miles ahead of QF F.
Thanks! I'm flying QF1 F to London in June, not expecting that much good but wanted to experience it once! Classic Reward too.Yeah, was disappointing, my first (and only, most likely) time in QF F, (Classic Award)
I only have SQ suites to 'compare' it to, lol, not a contest.
Beef looks terrible, typical QFF fare.Canapé, Duck, Beef fillet and Summer pudding from the above SYD-LAX F

Yes. Typical. It's one of the worst particularly for an F menu. Obviously all the attendants are "if it's mooing, I ain't chewin'" types. Had an argument with one fellow on F to LHR and he said for "health reasons" they are told to microwave the beef for 15 minutes. Strange other airlines manage to serve nicely medium rare tasty steaks and very few people have died toi my knowledge after eating them.I can confirm Qantas First serves up said well done steaks - tough as leather.

Overcooked, and a poor cut as well. Thanks! I'm flying QF1 F to London in June, not expecting that much good but wanted to experience it once! Classic Reward too.
Was there any pink in the beef fillet at all? Always a risk of getting a well done steak when ordering beef on planes...
QF F is hit and miss at the best of times. I’m at the point where I’d rather fly J because my expectations are more likely to be met rather than feeling disappointed. Tough as old boots ‘Neil Perry’ lamb rump, lead footed FAs tramping heavily through the cabin when people are trying to sleep, turning the bed back into a chair without asking 3.5 hours before landing because I made the mistake of getting up to go to the toilet - none of it is what I expect from F.Overcooked, and a poor cut as well.
Had the sea bass in the way back. (QF hadn’t loaded any F menus for the QF12 return, so no pics). Hostess had to try deliver the dishes from memory to each passenger, and choose immediately. Rather have a menu to peruse and consider. A few things in the F flights that indicated the return of the “full first class experience” much trumpeted, is not quite there yet…
They're better off not putting beef fillet on the menu, especially given people will see Neil Perry and assume they're getting something which is at least the closest a plane can get to Rockpool.Yes. Looks positvely ghastly! Robbie obviously had been warned.QF12, LAX-SYD F meals. No menus loaded, so no menu pics (and no detail on each dish other than the main ingredient!)
Canapés, Chicken, Sea Bass, Choc Mousse cake, bacon and scrambled eggs. (Poached eggs on menu deemed a “mistake” when requested.
Robbie Williams onboard in F, slept through all dining…not sure if he was already aware of the quality, or if the delayed 1am local departure time tired him out…View attachment 274810View attachment 274811View attachment 274812View attachment 274813View attachment 274814
Enjoyed the extra space, and the bed was very comfy….that’s about itThat's one sad looking breakfast. Those eggs look so over-cooked. I'm really not seeing the step up from J.
