Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your points in your qantas frequent flyer account?

I received my statement almost 2 weeks ago, but the points still have not been posted to my frequent flyer account. Is it normal?

Points normally arrive on the 2nd or 3rd, from what i see in my activity statement, but this month haven't got anything as yet. Meh, it will be posted eventually i hope!

Nope I did it all online with the website. I registered to become a member of QSCU, then it asked for ID etc and i just put passport in and it autofilled my voting info in and was verified online. Then after I got the membership number i logged in and applied.

Note: on the credit check form where you fax or send in your income proof etc, it doesnt say to send it via email, I asked the customer service person via email and she said this was ok. Because faxing 15pages is coughpy, and sending 15pages via the mail would cost like $5. hehe

I received a $50 Cellar Masters card for using or setting up or doing something with a transaction account with Qantas CU.

$50 Cellarmasters are worth about $5 in reality, all they do is drop their overpriced dozens back to normal prices. Latest seems to be you can get $100 Cellarmasters vouchers without much trouble and even then there aren't a huge amount of good quality wines at available. Lifes too short to drink cough wine.

Same for me. They show up in the current totals in Qantas emails I get...like they've been tallied. But they havent been posted on the site! Really strange.

They do an online check using medicare number and the like

Took a little bit of to'ing and fro'ing via email but in the end it wasn't that difficult. PIN number rec'd, just waiting for the card.

Now a reminder in the Outlook calendar to cancel the card come June next year.

I made contact with QSCU for a few different reasons, when I was asked "is there anything else....", I asked why members haven't recieved their points yet.?"

The reply was that their technical area has been working on it, as well as everyone there (ie: department dealing with it) has sent the points to qantas.

Simple terms: they did their part, now it's Q's problem.... I should now contact Qantas direct. (not actually quoted by them)

I can actually quote the call if interested, as I've got a call recorder on my phone.

"I'm wondering, as well as many 100's of other members why our qantas points haven't been credited this month yet for our credit card"

Reply: "Umm. We actually questioned that with our lending area, what we had been advised yes, umm we from our end had actually had updated and sent this points to qantas frequent fly, and then they need to credit. But we've raised that with our IT to make sure it has been credited".

Can quote the entire answer / recorded, but if still questioning, contact qantas direct.

You don't have to use it on cough wine. I got a nice carton of beer for $14 delivered.

Sorry getting OT.
We got a cellarmaster $50 gift card (through EDR CC). The card T&C's state the minimum order value must be $120. That would require buying about 3 cases of beer I guess. Not interested in their wines.
