QF93 MEL-LAX diverted to NAN overnight
Well, not cancelled, QF21/QF22 doesn't run on Saturdays.Saturday 17 June 2023's QF22 from DFW to MEL was cancelled so this morning there's no such arrival.
The delayed QF35 is planned to form QF52 tonight, which is now delayed to a 23.15 departure.Continuing with Monday 19 June 2023, QF35, the 1200 'high noon' MEL-SIN has been delayed until 1605 hours this afternoon in pushback.
This must be a recent change as a few hours ago when I had a quick squiz, it was showing as punctual.
It's probably due to QF37 on Sunday 18 (A332 VH-EBO), the 1600 hours afternoon, not becoming airborne and therefore not arriving SIN this morning until 0410 hours, 370 minutes late. It then formed QF38, the 2330 hours SIN-MEL that took off at 0604 - a terrible wait for passengers at the airport if they were there hours before - with arrival in MEL suggested as 1446 hours, 351 late.
So this aircraft is likely to form todat's '35'.
On two of the next few days, QF35 becomes a B789 and some days it's an A333. Variety is the spice...
Tonight's QF36 (also an A332, but maybe not the '35's' one) has been altered from a 2015 hours departure from SIN to 50 minutes later at 2105, mid evening.
Makes sense to utilise, when suitable, the spare B789 that otherwise sits on the Melbourne tarmac for 24 hours while an A380 operates QF93/QF94 (every second day up to 29th).On two of the next few days, QF35 becomes a B789 and some days it's an A333. Variety is the spice...
Monday's QF11 SYD-LAX normally operated by a B789, is in the hands of A380 VH-OQG which pushed back 40 minutes late, and is expected into Los Angeles at 07:50 PST Monday 45 minutes late.
