Still issues with EBJ by the looks of it, operating longer flight paths, last 4 flights have been significantly delayed.

The scheduled 1655 hours MEL-SIN has EBJ and is showing as likely to push back an hour late on 27 February.

I really want to know with this super profit announced today… will they do ANYTHING to enhance the A330 fleet reliability?!

QF2 1 March arrived into SIN 50 mins ahead of schedule at 17.40 with onward leg to SYD departure of 19.40 now pushed back 3 hours to 22.40. Flight crew issue or technical?

On Thursday Feb 27, QF163 to Wellington supposed to leave at 1840, boarded about 1815. Sat on tarmac till 2100 in airplane sauna (29C outside) due to ‘technical issues’ and no air con, very unpleasant. Can only imagine what it was like for older passengers and those with children. Given Wellington 2hrs ahead, seemed pretty clear early on that 0100 curfew there wouldn’t be met but kept giving vague assurances of ‘nearly ready’. Then herded us off around 2100, for afew hrs broken sleep in airport hotel and new 0700 flight. Which also left late due to flat tyre! So first day in Wellington ruined by fatigue snd having to catch up on sleep. Any suggestions on what compensation should be available for this debacle?

Today’s QF2 arriving SYD March 3rd is 24 hours late ex SIN.

To get around the fact they need 3xA380s in SYD today to operate the 63,1 and 11, the QF93 has been cancelled. OQB will position MEL-SYD

On Monday 3 March, QF12 ex LAX arrived SYD at 0802 hours, 37 minutes late with A388 VH-OQG. It immediately formed QF63, the 0930 hours SYD-JNB airborne at 1235 hours with arrival suggested as 1724, 159 minutes late, which will delay QF64 back overnight to Sydney.

A333 VH-QPF is on QF59, the 1200 'high noon' SYD-HND that was in the sky at 1333 hours so the forecast 2057 hours arrival will be 57 minutes behind schedule.

It still seems QFi is trying to do too much with too few (ageing) planes. We can't suggest maintenance is poor (untrue) but like most modes of transport, aircraft that are 'getting on' may require a bit more downtime to fix minor or greater problems. While it's easy to be critical, the poor reliability and punctuality suggests that the rosters are too strenuous.
