Will be flying my first QF Domestic flight in 8 years in a few months time (MEL to BNE).

My last QF Domestic flight was MEL to SYD back in 2016 and looking at photos, I only got a pack of cheese and crackers at the time.

I wonder what I'll get on MEL to BNE in a few months time? My expectations are quite low - it is QF after all.

Beer was James squire 150 lashes, so not too bad

QF878 lunch Y was a roast beef sandwich by The Homemade Food Co from Caboolture - it was ok.

Being after midday, I wasn’t sure about the new wine policy of service after 12.
Well, it took for me to ask as not offered to any pax proactively.

I'll set my food expectations very low then!

You’ll get something hot on that flight. Otherwise I ask for the snack option which is currently soy chips, they normally give a couple of packets.

I actually prefer the dry Qantas link snacks which are things like salsa and corn chips.

Surprisingly decent. I'd get them if they were sitting there at the Dom J lounge (maybe a bit better presented). Good flavour on it.

Chicken with fruit or chicken with "chutney" idea.

Probably a hit or miss with people depending on their disposition on those above combinations. Personally I can see it working and would probably enjoy the flavour of the sandwich.
