Glad to see its not just us country bumpkins flying Qantaslink who are getting two thirds of a sandwich...QF0440 MEL-SYD on Monday 8/4. A330-200
Lunchtime flight so fittingly we got a sandwich... Sorry, 2/3 of a sandwich. (What they did with the other third I don't know). Overall roast beef, caramelised onions and cream cheese are a pretty good combo, but I wouldn't have minded the missing third
Party pies looking good now @kookaburra75 ?Mini pizzas on QF696 ADL-MEL tonight - I learned my lesson from last night.

I had filled up in the lounge before getting on the flight, so 'beverages' was all that I needed. I had learned my lesson.Party pies looking good now @kookaburra75 ?

Not a phrase I would ever think of using. But then, on a Dash 8 you are thankful what you are given (says someone who has done a gazillion runs on Dash 8s)... freshly defrosted...
Most/all of the food has been chilled/frozen - sometimes defrosted long before the flight and if a sandwich, the bread is dry. This was at least soft and moist. Not a phrase I would ever think of using. But then, on a Dash 8 you are thankful what you are given (says someone who has done a gazillion runs on Dash 8s)
