Interesting how our flights were scheduled merely an hour apart on the same sector, and both within the old days Dinner time, but we received different meals.

That's probably the best looking 'meal' this whole thread. Did it come with 'cutlery' or did they have to ask? Similarly, did you have to ask for 'cutlery' with yours?

You get cutlery, napkin and a drink + wine, beer or soft drink.

No worries - the standard between QF dom whY and J meals is practically indiscernible these days anyway...

The cardboard box is about the only discernible difference in presentation and palatability...

And just when is the cheese going to return in J instead of this continuance of some sickly cheap rubbish chocolate chucked onto the tray as some feeble after-meal offering...?

I once, in the dreamtime, thought that dom AA F meals, of which I have partaken of many, were ordinary. How wrong I was. It was merely a foretaste of a dystopian QF dom J future that seems destined to be with us in perpetuity...

QF772 PER-MEL 10:15am departure. Pasta with pork (not sure I saw any pork in it) or a cold chicken tabouleh salad. Pasta dish was edible at least.

That looks like my dogs supper yesterday or the vomit left behind by the drunk teenager on tram route 86 yesterday.

The second option had a strange smell to it.

Beef sausage rolls (without sauce)\
They actually looked and tasted like sausage rolls and weren't soggy, quite good.

Funny thing is if you combine the length of those three rolls, you'd get a roll that beats quite a few sold in convenience stores, petrol stations and even some bakeries.
