The cardboard box is about the only discernible difference in presentation and palatability...

And just when is the cheese going to return in J instead of this continuance of some sickly cheap rubbish chocolate chucked onto the tray as some feeble after-meal offering...?

I once, in the dreamtime, thought that dom AA F meals, of which I have partaken of many, were ordinary. How wrong I was. It was merely a foretaste of a dystopian QF dom J future that seems destined to be with us in perpetuity...☹️

QF772 PER-MEL 10:15am departure. Pasta with pork (not sure I saw any pork in it) or a cold chicken tabouleh salad. Pasta dish was edible at least.

That looks like my dogs supper yesterday or the vomit left behind by the drunk teenager on tram route 86 yesterday.

The second option had a strange smell to it.

So same presentation as the QF domestic J meals ;)

From tomorrow, short domestic flights will serve wine and beer from 1200 instead of 1600.
Why stop there… JQ sells beer on 6am flights. They might have takers on the SYD-MEL 6am services as well.
