Qantas domestic economy meals

Bunch of drunks in here.
I’m all for it.
Hear hear. I read Kookaburra's post and thought, "Hmm, I really need to find a US tech company that doesn't frown on drinking on the job. I'm clearly at the wrong one myself." 🤣 🍻

Gotta be to tolerate the standard of Qantas, a lot of the time.

Been working for Aussie tech companies since 2016.

Yet to find anyone who has an issue with me coming back from an 11am lunch half-cut.

I swear Qantas is forcibly making us vegetarian, majority of the new menu items seem to be vego again and this morning SYD-PER choice of a banana muffin and yoghurt or Eggs (gloop) and beans not a sausage or bit of bacon to be seen.

PER-MEL it was the same chicken salad we have had for as long as I can remember and a curry that had the grand total of 2 bits of lamb, the Mrs had 3 bits of lamb in hers.

Transcon catering has gone way down hill, truly diabolical.

Stop complaining... there are some white collar workers who would be lucky to even have five spare minutes in the day to be able to eat that (or lunch, or just use the bathroom, for that matter).

😅

Disclaimer: this post is a joke.
Actually, it was not a compliant - the sausage roll was fine. Better than my recent experiences on Qantas domestic.

BNE-MEL ... 2:15 pm Monday, Arancini Balls:

Tasted better than they looked. Not as nice as the above sausage roll.
I ( plus wife plus sons ) happened to be one hour behind Serfty on the 3.15pm Brisbane to Mel flight on the same day as Serfty ! My school age sons were in economy who can vouch for the food but no wine for them ! Myself and wife scored a points business class upgrade hence experienced different cuisine.....not that I think the upgrade was worth the points for a 2hr 15min flight but that is a different story......

Pilbara-Perth they are in love with the vego goats cheese quiche for dinner - 4th week in a row and 3 different airports lol
