Good luck to all of you who receieved the email - I doubt I will be getting one as my year is only 4 days old & I am on zero s/c. Can people include when their year is up with QF? Would be interested to see if it is just those in the last 3 months of their year who receive the offer. Thx.

Currently SG level. End of year is Sept 30. Have 30 SC's year to date and no current QF bookings. Offer received today at 5.40pm.

My year rolled over April 1st with zero SC and zero QF bookings.
It's a long way to 3,600 from nothing.

No good do this as when using a refund credit the initial booking (pre 2xSC promotion) reference remains.

That is interesting, so your saying the original booking date remains?

Even though the new booking date would be in the new date window, and using a voucher which was X period old.

For example, say I have a voucher from last year for $150 bucks, and I put it towards a new flight which is $300 bucks and in the promotion date, that I wont get double SC's?

Does anyone have a view on whether "booked" means ticketed? I have a unticketed international J in two weeks that I can just "not proceed with" and then start a new booking. But if I don't need to do that, I'd rather keep the booking.

I got it too, my only flights planned/booked are in july

Aside from already booked stuff the only opportunities for me are in July as well

Did 400 SC with DJ in March and 2x LHR trips being planned for May. Thought I'd try Etihad First for a change which will cruise well over the DJ plat for the year, yet to book this though. I don't book anything further than usually a month out.

Got a text from my father to say Step mum + sister got double stat e-mail and that he didn't.

So I checked my e-mail and got one. Currently Gold due to last years double offer and on 170 stats at the moment waiting for double offer to come.

So just booked a JASA CBR-SYD-HBA-MEL-CBR run with 50mins in HBA.

So now deciding to still finish off NAN run by doing SYD-MEL-BNE in this membership year with QF8 whY BNE-SYD taking me to 640 or put off till after 31/7 roll over doing a run/s to make up 70 stats needed to retain Gold. Could do SYD-CBR to meet start of HBA JASA run netting 80 stats, taking me to 610 and using the 110 stats from Left over NAN run to kick off next year.

I got the offer in WA......First time for a 2x Status Credit offer!

Pain in the but though, just booked a head of Business class travel (self funded) all around Aus and then off to London in J! All been booked for the stated periods.....but from reading the T&C it looks like only new bookings get the 2x SC's which kind of sucks but ah well have to wait till I get back from Europe with Gold then do nothing with it

Edit: See the other thread regarding this: Would have been nice to include ALL Bookings that are completed/travelled during this period as I assume most business travel is already booked for people etc, wish Qantas would look after it's most loyal customers sometimes, be nice to get some feedback from Red Roo on why previous bookings are included in this offer.

Mr Katie tells me he got it. He's at 20 SC for the year (year ends June 30th), with insufficient bookings to keep SG.
Little Miss and I did not receive it. I'm on track to maintain WP by May (status year ends Sept), and Little Miss is still SG until end Jan 2013, with insufficient bookings to maintain. But as a 5yo, her work doesn't require her to travel much.

I'm WP at the moment & this offer will give me an extra 850 status credits over 2 months, which by the end of my membership year will give me over 3600 sc's, am soo looking forward to be WP1 Am really suprised i got this offer being a WP, as this is my first double status credit offer for about 4 years.

Hoping to add to the many variables floating around. Annual renewal is the 31st of March (my new year is only 4 days old also). I qualified for WP on the 19th March. I fly CX alot internationally. Have a SYD-JFK-LAX-SYD already booked for July with QF. Do some domestic with QF, some with DJ.

I am struggling to find a common theme between those that received the offer and those that did not.

I've received the email too. I also had the anniversary a few days ago, but I'm only SG. And while I joined a few years ago, the only other common theme is that we both fly on CX a lot - I currently have 2 CX PNRs showing in my booking, over the next couple of months.
