Any chance they will also drop an NZ or Fiji J Sale before this ends?
We wish and if you look at they “Sale” fare page now, destination that are normally return prices in J eg NOU, NAN are now showing One-Way and not pretty…😔

Yeah i cant see any alignment right now between places i want to go and affordable J fares. Will register and see if anything goes on sale before 28th.

NZ is probably the best value for J but about 60% more expensive than the last DSC

A reminder for eager beavers that it may be an idea to hold off registering or booking flights till after 1100 AEDT/0000 GMT. The T&Cs say from 00:01 today, but past experience has seen QF have trouble with such things not in Zulu. I mean in terms of auto credit. Save some potential hassle and hold off is my usual plan.

1 stop NZ flights now cost at least $2000 at the moment, we will see if there is a sale on...

Reading the T&C found this " The Eligible Flight does not need to be a sale fare" Not sure what this means?

The conditions specifically exclude it, so I'm not expecting any loopholes, but can anyone confirm their experience with qf codes on EK during previous promos?

And an actual registration confirmation email this time
I tried grabbing a screenshot in case it didn't arrive. Failed in taking it on iPad - turned it off instead. Registered again. Same thing. And again. Next thing I hear complaints from the 'author trying to write his book' saying he was getting spammed by Qantas FF emails. Ooops. At least I know he's registered. Now, to plan the trip.

The confirmation email I got is a pretty good argument that it would apply and I registered successfully if I need to argue ( should I actually book!)

What are the chances people can get DSC vouchers/DSC Flight Credits during this promo?

I'll be sitting this round out, but they were some ridiculous deals back in the day!

I'm sitting it out too - my trips planned for the next 12 months already requalify me.

And although I did get that NZ DSC trip planned last time, I ended up cancelling it as my other trips qualified me so I didn't need it anymore - just waited for a schedule change and I cancelled for free.

Yes. absolutely.

I just meant to avoid hassle of having to manually chase up DSC due to QF's long time system "features" that - at least in the past - had problems with this thing.

Not saying people wouldn't be eligible or anything. I just say it based on many people having issues in the past and having to chase it up, and it seemed to be linked to the timezone issue.

just trying to save some potential hassle and aggravation :)

(but hey, the bug may have been fixed!)

This one has been nailed down pretty much for years.

You can actually reregister, change your choice (points or SCs) multiple times. Whichever was last chosen is in play when you fly.

I jumped on the DSC offer this time last year, and managed to qualify WP for the first time. However, with the 500SC carry over, and the bookings with QF this month, and probably QR or AY later in the year, I will have no trouble re-qualifying WP so will also sit this round out.

Exactly what it says on the tin (not sure why they had to include it though)

That's what I thought ... they need not say that .... Any fare (sale/saver/flex) purchased is eligible as long as it is booked within the promo window, on a QF numbered & operated. Acknowledge that PC/PC+ is here-and-there.
